The Holzammer Group has supported Lebenshilfe Neumarkt with a donation in cash.
The money was invested well, and beautiful and practical sunshades and comfortable seating cushions were acquired for the garden in the Nobelstraße.

We are very pleased at the many visitors and interesting conversations at our trade fair stand.

This year’s themes were:

• Differences between thermoplastic foam injection moulding and compact injection moulding

• Advantages and disadvantages of the two production processes

• Possibilities for finishing plastic parts

• Trim parts manufactured with thermoforming

The modernisation of our mould making is proceeding to the next stage.
A new, high-performance CNC milling machine of the AXA brand
with a work area of x-y-z 2,400 - 1,400 - 800 mm was delivered on 3 March 2022.

The new injection moulding machine has a closing force of 7,000 kN, a shot volume of 3,550 cm3, and produces automatically through the linear robot Viper 40.

In the process of procuring this injection moulding machine, we placed a focus on energy efficiency.
With the internal “ecograph-plus package”, the machine automatically measures and analyses the current energy consumption, enabling optimal and especially efficient operation.
Additional features of our new injection moulding machine for optimised production efficiency include the “iQ weight control”, the “iQ weight monitor” and the automatic “iQ melt control”.
All state-of-the-art systems for the most environmentally friendly and effective plastics injection moulding as possible.

In the course of the modernisation of mould making, we have made space for more efficient technology and parted with older machines.
A new Hermle C 650 processing centre with a work area of X-Y-Z 1,050 - 900 - 600 mm was delivered on 17 December 2021.

This year we are not concentrating on COMPAMED / MEDICA in Düsseldorf as usual, but will be exhibiting at Fakuma, the International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing in Friedrichshafen.

Our employees were keen to accept our vaccination offering.
We hired a regional bus company to take everyone interested to our vaccinating doctor, located in Nuremberg, for their Biontech COVID-19 vaccination.
Everyone who indicated interest has been vaccinated since 13 July 2021.

The existing paint storage at our HOLZAMMER factory in Apolda was no longer able to meet the growing demand for our production. We found this finished container solution to be both practical and environmentally-sound:

· F-Safe hazardous material container F90 area – DIBt-approved

· Capacity: 1950 l

· Weight: 3.9 t, external dimensions 6150 x 2912 x 2985 mm

Our mould making production is growing!

Demand for small series and prototypes is steadily increasing. The same goes for inserts and sliders made of steel for use in injection moulds.

This is why we have added a DMG Mori CMX 600 V CNC processing centre to our lineup. Offering high stability and precision as well as a compact design, it covers the following travel lengths:

X-axis 600mm

Y-axis 560mm

Z-axis 510mm

Bavaria’s best technical model maker for 2020 completed his training at HOLZAMMER.

Holzammer Kunststofftechnik has been certified to be essential for “maintaining the production of urgently needed pandemic products and crucial to maintaining the functionality of critical infrastructures (“KRITIS”)” (Stefan Dräger, CEO Dräger).

Holzammer Kunststofftechnik engaged a „critical role in maintaining the continued operation of essential healthcare infrastructure“ (Siemens Healthcare GmbH).

Our new website is now online. An improved responsive design combined with a new colour scheme give the site a more modern look.

Our exhaust air treatment system was commissioned with no problems at all. TÜV was also satisfied, confirming measurements far below the legal thresholds, meaning that we have enough reserves for the future.

This large system replaces a smaller system and rounds off our machine park up to our larger 16,000 kN system. With numerous features such as iQ weight control, it’s not just equipped for the near future.

Holzammer Kunststofftechnik GmbH has once again been granted the right to bear the Qualitätsverbund umweltbewusster Betriebe (QUB – quality association for environmentally-conscious businesses) seal of quality as proof of its especially sustainable business practices.

Heavy-duty vans and a 250 t crane brought the first components of the future exhaust air treatment system to our company building today.

The LGA tested our QA system for 4 days. Holzammer Kunststofftechnik received the new certificate as evidence of testing in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 on 30 October 2019.
